The starting point of Stage 7 is at the Rogla tourist complex, from where the trail leads past a water intake and across meadows and pastures toward the Lovrenc Lakes.
The route then continues across the scenic Planinka meadow, from where it descends into Šiklarica, followed by a climb to Jezerski Vrh, offering hikers beautiful views and a partisan monument.
From the summit, the stage’s destination – Ribniška Koča – comes into view. Optionally, hikers can make a short detour to Ribnica Lake, a hidden natural gem nearby.,
