The cycling route to Rogla follows quieter roads and largely avoids main traffic, making it a pleasant and safe ride for all cyclists. The route starts in the Dravinja Valley, from where you will head toward the Gorska reka inn. From there, you turn toward Ljubnica, where the climb to Bukova gora begins. The route is scenic and varied, passing through forested sections, meadows, and small hills – and it’s not unusual to be greeted by a cow or two along the way.
The route continues along ridge and forest trails, gradually leading you to the higher parts of Pohorje. Along the ride, you will enjoy views of surrounding forests, valleys, and rural houses until you reach the finish at Rogla. This is a dynamic cycling experience that combines calmer valley sections with more challenging climbs and elevated areas of Pohorje, with every part of the route rewarding your effort.
