The route starts in Zreče and passes by the primary school before continuing along Tovarniška cesta, where it soon turns into the forest and transitions into a more natural and quiet environment. The trail then ascends moderately towards Gorenje pri Zrečah, following a mix of forest paths and partially open sections. In the village, there is an opportunity to take a break and enjoy refreshments at the Smogavc guesthouse.
The route then descends past the settlement of Črešnova and continues along a scenic panoramic road, offering several viewpoints over the surrounding hills. If desired, a short detour can be made to visit St. Martin’s Church, located on a hill with wide views of the surrounding landscape. For those seeking an additional climb, the route can be extended to the summit of Brinjeva gora, which rewards you with an open view over the Oplotnica area and nearby hills.
