From the picturesque town center of Slovenske Konjice ride at the foothills of Konjiška Gora through Konjiška vas and Žiče. There turn right and a little bit further you will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful small yellow plant, Žiče Grobeljnik, which is endemic. Soon you will enter the narrow and quiet Valley of St. John, at the end of which there is a breathtaking historical monument: Žiče Charterhouse, and next to it is the Gastuž Inn (1467), the oldest inn in Slovenia that is still working.

Tip: You can take a walk through the Žiče Charterhouse with smart glasses that bring the Carthusian tale to life in its entirety.
