Sustainability is an essential part of the Rogla–Pohorje destination's story. Between 2024 and 2026, we worked alongside municipalities, tourism providers, local organisations and residents to make meaningful progress towards more responsible tourism.
Our key achievements include the establishment of Pohorje Regional Park, the development of sustainable mobility, improved cycling infrastructure, enhanced tourism facilities, and continued support for local gastronomy and products through the Tastes of Rogla (Okusi Rogle) collective brand.
We are also proud of our seven tourism providers holding Slovenia Green certification, our Slovenia Green Destination Gold label, and two recognitions in the Green Destinations Top 100 Stories programme in 2024 and 2026.
Our efforts also focus on protecting natural and cultural heritage, developing new visitor experiences, and strengthening cooperation among tourism providers throughout the destination.
