The cycling route takes us along a road running parallel to the main one, passing under the Škalce hills towards Slovenske Konjice. We ride past the charming old town with its pastel-colored houses before starting the climb up Konjiška Gora. Just a few meters off the path, you can visit Konjice Castle. Then, shaded by the forest, the trail continues on a gravel road to Trije Križi (three crosses), where we turn right and emerge at the Žiče Monastery. Here, a refreshment stop at the oldest still working inn, Gastuž is perfect.

The journey then continues along quiet country roads to Oplotnica, where we can explore the natural habitat of Partovec, offering a pleasant spot of shade. From there, we climb over Oplotnica and Zlakova up a hill. If energy allows, a slight detour brings us to the viewpoint on Brinjeva Gora, just a short distance from the route. Finally, the ride descends back to Zreče.
