From the interesting Church of St. Anne at the Konjice cemetery, climb straight up a steep trail into the forest, which soon, after only a few minutes' walk, rewards you with yet another historical monument: the Old Castle on Konjiška gora, where the noblemen of Konjice once ruled, as well as the Tattenbach family. If you like, take a look down from the castle to the Old Town Square Centre of Slovenske Konjice and further along the Dravinja valley - they say there is no better view far away. After that, turn into a genuine, typical Konjice beech forest, watered by rich water resources. In the meantime you come across the interesting three crosses. Then go up the path to the highest peak of Konjiška gora, 1012 meters high, where you can climb the top of just a few meters higher lookout tower. In fine weather it offers stunning views across the Slovenian borders.
