A relatively flat and undemanding trail through the soft Pohorje plains on forest soil covered with roots and filled with needles, leads deeply into the forest. This is where the world of the moor begins, the peat bog, the place where the healing Pohorje peat is also formed. A wooden trail of footbridges heads not far from there and reveals a genuine pearl, the famous Lovrenc Lakes. This is the biggest high moor in Slovenia, with 20 small lakes, where in summer you can admire the white water lily. It is here that the endangered grouse is hiding, rarely showing up. The Lake tower offers stunning views in all directions.

The trail is suitable for nordic walking and jogging!
