The Church of St. Peter lies in the clustered village of Žiče, after which the famous Žiče Charterhouse was named. Interestingly, the Church of St. Peter is also in fact associated with the Carthusians, since it was built after they asked the Cardinal Neapole Ursini for permission in 1308. It was first recorded in the written sources in 1392.
