The Lešnik family has been engaged in winemaking for several generations, and Matjaž Lešnik has taken this tradition in a new direction. Twenty-five years ago, the Lešnik family moved to the village of Žiče, near the famous Žička kartuzija Monastery. Nearly 900 years ago, the Carthusian monks were already pioneers of viticulture in this region.
With love for his craft and bold vision, Matjaž Lešnik transformed small currant berries into a unique boutique wine. Every bottle is filled with handcrafted dedication, persistence, and a passion for discovering new flavours.
