The Slovenske Konjice Art Gallery is housed in a carefully renovated townhouse in the heart of the old town centre, at Stari trg 15.
Its new identity came to life in 2026 as a modern and high-quality exhibition space, offering visitors a permanent collection alongside ever-changing perspectives on art. A defining principle of the gallery is clear: all exhibited works are connected to Slovenske Konjice—whether through motif, artist, or context of origin.
The gallery’s new concept was designed by Zala Brglez, a young artist and collaborator of the Centre for Cultural Events, with the support of the Municipality of Slovenske Konjice and the Slovenske Konjice General Library.
The exhibition is divided into five thematic rooms, which together form a comprehensive narrative of the artistic and cultural development of Slovenske Konjice:
The Slovenske Konjice Art Gallery is conceived as a living space that is continuously enriched with new works and content. In this way, it grows alongside the town, its creators, and the time in which it evolves.
