Anja Rupel began her musical career at the age of sixteen with the band Videosex, which left a strong mark on the music scene of the former Yugoslavia. In 1994, she launched her solo career and rose to fame with the hit song Lep je dan. Throughout her career, she has released eight albums and performed both in Slovenia and abroad. Her best-known songs include Odpri oči, V Ljubljano, Plašč ljubezni, and the duet Skrajni čas / Krajnje vreme with Toše Proeski. Her music continues to live on through concerts, radio stations, and streaming platforms.
