You are invited to a silent walk across Konjiška gora Mountain to the Žička kartuzija Monastery.
On Saturday, 23 May, at 7:00 AM, you are warmly invited to a Silent Walk from the urban into the secluded.
The route will lead from Slovenske Konjice across Konjiška Gora into the Valley of St. John the Baptist, all the way to the Žiče Charterhouse. At Gastuž, you will be able to refresh yourself with a Carthusian stew, and at the Charterhouse you will experience the silence of this historic place.
The guided circular hike (Slovenske Konjice – Trije Križi – Kamna Gora – Žiče Charterhouse – Skala – Slovenske Konjice) is organised in cooperation with the Slovenske Konjice Mountaineering Association.
Route length: 15 km
Walking time: approximately 5.5 hours
Difficulty: easy mountain trail
The hike is designed as a calm walking experience, where in addition to movement, emphasis is placed on observing the surroundings and experiencing the landscape. Good hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, trekking poles, and sufficient fluids are recommended.
Registration is mandatory by Thursday, 21 May, at 11:00 AM.

The hike and workshop are free of charge for participants. The price of the Carthusian meal is €7 per participant and is paid on the day of the event at Gastuž.
The meeting point is on Saturday, 23 May, at 7:00 AM in front of the Sports Hall in Slovenske Konjice. The expected return to Slovenske Konjice is around 2:00 PM.
In case of heavy rainfall, the event will be cancelled.
