At the end of August, we’ll once again run along trails in the heart of the Pohorje forests at the 2nd Slovenian Forestry Trail Run.
The first Slovenian Forestry Trail invites runners seeking a unique sporting experience in unspoiled nature. The diverse course winds through centuries-old Pohorje forests of spruce, beech, and fir, passing peat bogs, crystal-clear streams, and lakes.
The competitive trail will test participants’ endurance while also offering the joy of running along single tracks and breathtaking views of the valleys and hills surrounding Pohorje.
The start and finish of the trail will take place at Rogla Sports Centre, which is also an excellent location for family activities.
The Slovenian Forestry Trail welcomes beginners, recreational runners, and experienced competitors alike.

- 08:00 Start of the 34 km race (time limit: 8 hours)
- 14:00 Cut-off time at Jezerski Vrh (24 km)
- 09:40 Start of the 14 km race (time limit: 4 hours)
- 11:30 – 16:00 Refreshments for runners and entertainment program with a DJ
- 13:00 (approx.) Award ceremony for the short course (trophies and medals)
- 15:00 (approx.) Award ceremony for the long course (trophies and medals)
