As part of the celebration of the 880th anniversary of Slovenske Konjice, you are warmly invited to a free themed guided tour, In the Footsteps of Ivan Minatti, taking place on Wednesday, 11 March, at 4 p.m.
On the eve of St Gregory’s Day, set out on an inspiring walk through the town and the poetry of Ivan Minatti, author of the renowned poem Nekoga moraš imeti rad (“Someone You Must Love”). Through his verses, as well as the poetry of Lojzka Špacapan and Katarina Minatti, you will discover stories from the poet’s life while exploring the rich cultural heritage of Konjice. Experience the town in a different way—through poetry, memories, and creative inspiration.
