Outside the guided tour schedule (audio-guided visits), visitors receive a 50% discount on the regular admission fee.
For younger visitors, free creative workshops will also take place in the ceremonial hall of the Žička kartuzija Monastery.
Žička kartuzija Monastery also features:
- four permanent exhibitions dedicated to the rich Carthusian heritage, two lapidaries and the penitential cellar, an herbal shop and a pottery workshop, a monastic herb garden, and the themed Silent Energies of Žička kartuzija trail.
Next to the Monastery stands Gastuž (1467), the oldest still-operating guesthouse in Slovenia, offering a pleasant refreshment stop. On the upper floor, you can also visit the renowned Spargus Restaurant, known for authentic, high-quality cuisine.
The event is part of the project “Žička kartuzija Moanstery – A Space of Peace, Knowledge and Cooperation”, co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Slovenia under the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy 2023–2027.
