We invite you to the final event of the NUdGES project (Interreg Euromediteranean), where we will present the results of research on the impact of culture and sensory experiences on behavioural changes for mitigating climate change. The event will include presentations, a roundtable discussion, and a pleasant gathering with herbal tea, local snacks, and a photo exhibition highlighting herbalism and the use of local herbal products.
We invite all interested individuals to join us at the final event of the NUdGES project, co-financed by the Interreg Euromediteranean programme. Within the project, we explored how culture and sensory experiences can influence behavioural changes to mitigate climate change.
In May, we held two free activities at Žička kartuzija, which attracted significant attention. The first was an herbal workshop, where participants smelled fresh herbs in the monastery’s herbal garden, managed by Zeliščni vrt in kmetija Majnika, tasted herbal teas and spreads, and learned about distillation, hydrolat extraction, and essential oils. The second activity was a guided tour of Žička kartuzija, a former Carthusian monastery where herbalism and pharmacy played an important role.
At the event, we will present the project results, which aimed to introduce participants to herbs and the use of local herbal products through scent and sensory experience.
The final event will feature: TIC Slovenske Konjice, Zeliščni vrt in kmetija Majnika, Municipality of Slovenske Konjice, ZRS Bistra Ptuj, Zarja Muršič, UrbanGreenLeap Project, RealUrbanGreen_project (Interreg Euro-MED), and Zelen.kom & GreenNudge (RS and NextGeneration EU).
After the presentations and roundtable discussion, a pleasant gathering will follow with herbal tea, local snacks, a display of herbal products, and a photo exhibition.
