St. Martin’s Day Celebration in Slovenske Konjice
The celebration of St. Martin’s Day in Slovenske Konjice has a long tradition. The fine wines from the surrounding hills give the town its special character, while the autumn months paint it in warm golden tones.
This year, the celebration will take place on Saturday, 8 November 2025, from 3:00 PM onwards, under the big tent at the Town Square in Slovenske Konjice. The event will open with a parade by the Slovenske Konjice Brass Band, followed by a symbolic blessing of the new wine by the winemakers of the Dravinja Valley.
A lively atmosphere will be created by local musicians and dancers, and the Banovšek Ensemble will bring the true festive spirit of Martinovanje.
At the autumn market stalls, visitors will be able to enjoy top-quality wines from the Konjice winegrowing area and the entire Rogla–Pohorje Tourist Destination, accompanied by a selection of local culinary delights.
