On Saturday, guided tours will be held at the Museum of 100 Victims of Frankolovo, and on Sunday at the Skomarje House.
About the Skomarje House
The Skomarje House is a perfectly preserved cultural monument and a perfect display of rural life from the past about people from Pohorje.
The famous Homestead Skomarje House was built in 1803, following the classic chimney tradition of construction of the time. At the same time the famous Pohorje poet, Jurij Vodovnik, also wandered around here. It represents the transitional type between the late medieval smoke house and a more advanced house with an open-fire black kitchen.
Guided Tours
On Sunday, May 25, 2025, guided tours of the Skomarje House will take place.
Times: 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:00 AM
