The instrumental ensemble Quintet Piazzolleky featuring vocalist Ana Bezjak is coming to Žička kartuzija!
Sensuality and eroticism, silence, sorrow, brutality.
These and many other facets of life can be heard in tango — as the audience witnesses the history of tango unfold during the concerts of Quintet Piazzolleky.
With the passion of Tangueros, Balkan temperament, and the refined sensitivity of classically trained musicians, both Tango Nuevo and Tango Típico are given a new dimension.
Having performed in many countries across Europe — in grand concert halls and intimate clubs, including those in the very regions where tango was born — the ensemble has proven their deep connection to the genre and a high level of interpretation that sets them apart.
In early 2024, they recorded their third album titled "Poema", once again paying homage to the rich cradle of tango dance music.
At Žička kartuzija, the quintet will revive their long-standing collaboration with the outstanding Slovenian jazz vocalist Ana Bezjak, promising an emotionally charged and unforgettable evening.
