The Skumavc Art Days in Resnik is an art colony dedicated to preserving the poetic heritage and persona of the Pohorje poet Jurij Vodovnik through artistic creations. The colony aims to contribute to the tourism, cultural identity, and overall recognition of the Zreče Pohorje region, where Vodovnik lived and created his work.
The colony is named after academic painter Marjan Skumavc (1947–2011), who played a key role in establishing the colony and actively participated in its first four years.
At Resnik 2025, the following artists will be creating:
Matjaž Duh, Sonja Hrastnik Jančič, Janez Kovačič, Mihael Rudl, Viktor Šest, Božidar Ščurek, Miro Švigelj, Urša Toman, Veljko Toman.
This year as well, our guest of honour is Nikolaj Beer.
