Set out on the beautiful Golek Trail, on the outskirts of Pohorje, a route very popular among locals. The path is easy and suitable even for families with young children, winding through peaceful Pohorje forests.

Along the way, the trail occasionally rewards you with stunning views over the Dravinja Valley, making every step worthwhile. The path leads to a tranquil clearing at the top, where you can pause, enjoy the scenery, and take a well-deserved rest.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxed family outing or a refreshing escape into nature, the Golek Trail offers peace, beautiful views, and those little moments that make hiking truly unforgettable.

Length: 8 km (circular route)

Elevation Gain: 380 m

Hiking Time: 3 hours (circular route)

For more experienced hikers, there’s also the so-called “steep” trail. At the quarry below the Ančka Farm, follow the path into the forest, and shortly after, you’ll see a sign or marker indicating a right turn onto the steeper route.
On Wednesdays, stop by Ančka Farm for a delicious homemade lunch.
