From the front of the mighty and beautifully restored Oplotnica Mansion head to the right, up the undemanding hill towards Gorica, where you will be able to see Oplotnica vineyards and the valley far away - in nice weather even all the way to Boč and Donačka gora. The narrow path along the ridge, which is part of the Lower Pohorje Wine Road, slowly descends to the village of Malahorna. There at the Forbar Homestead you can taste the goods of the brand name Tastes of Rogla. The route turns uphill and, after a slightly more difficult ascent, you are rewarded with the view of the lovely Church of St. Barbara and the medieval kitchen next to it. Following a pleasant descent to the village of Markečica and through Dobriška vas, all the way to Čadram, you arrive to the a famous large Church of St. John the Baptist, associated with the monks of the Žiče Charterhouse. A few minutes more and you are back in Oplotnica. You will ride past a beautiful park with an Old Laundry - visit them!
